How the AI search works

Simply describe what you need. "Ask Rentlo" turns it into matching search filters.

Describe instead of filtering

Instead of clicking through filters, write in full sentences what you are looking for, for example:

"Van for a move on Saturday in Cologne, without deposit"
"Convertible for the weekend in Munich, with delivery"
"Small car for one week from Monday in Berlin"

The AI search recognises location, period, vehicle type and wishes and sets the matching filters. You can then narrow down the results as usual.

How it works

DescribeType what you need into "Ask Rentlo".
ConsentThe first time, we ask whether your search text may be sent to our AI provider. You can also say no.
ResultsRentlo shows you matching vehicles. Always check details such as price and terms on the vehicle page.

Data protection

Only with your consent do we send your search text together with the current date to Anthropic (USA), the provider of the language model Claude. We do not send account or device data, including your location. Please do not enter personal information in the search text.

Without consent, after you withdraw it or if the service is unavailable, only our own search parser on our server evaluates your text. So the search also works without AI, just less precisely.

You can change your decision at any time in the privacy settings (entry "AI search with Claude"). All details are in the privacy policy, section 8.
