Every commercial legal form is welcome, from sole proprietorship to limited company. What matters is a registered business and suitable insurance.

Sign-up, membership and marketing cost €0. Only for a successfully completed booking is there a 6% service fee. No monthly fee, no setup fee, no hidden costs.

6% per successful booking. That's significantly less than many other platforms, and you only pay when you actually earn.

With a €1,000 rental price the service fee is €60, so €940 goes to you. For a €1,600 booking the service fee is €96.

Payouts go automatically to your business account, usually shortly after the booking and at the latest before the rental starts. You can see all payments in the dashboard.

The service fee only applies to the amount you actually receive. If a booking is fully refunded, you pay nothing.

You can enable cash payment per vehicle. The renter then pays 10% online as a down payment, which covers the service fee, and the rest in cash at pick-up.

Yes. For every booking you get an invoice for the service fee to download in the dashboard, clean for your accounting.

No. Our marketing on social media, in search engines and in the app is free for you.

Yes. The contract is prepared with the renter's details; you can store your own rental terms or use our model rental terms.

You choose from fair cancellation tiers that are clearly visible to customers. Fair terms demonstrably increase the booking rate.

Yes. Set a turnaround or cleaning time; the calendar blocks it automatically.

Yes, you set amount and type per vehicle, provided online and/or on site by cash, debit card, credit card or own vehicle incl. registration document.

The amount is blocked on the customer's payment method and released by you after the return, or fully or partly retained in case of damage.

Document the damage, report it in the dashboard and settle it via your insurance. The renter bears the agreed excess, which you can offset against the deposit.

Rentlo is an intermediary, not an insurer. The renter is liable under your rental contract; your rental insurance covers the rest. We do support you in resolving it.

Yes. You can offer packages with a reduced excess that customers add when booking.

You pass fines from the rental period on to the renter. All the data you need is in the booking; you can set a handling fee in your rental terms.

We promote your vehicles in search engines, on social media, with campaigns, in the app and with city and occasion pages. You don't have to do or pay anything.

Short videos of your vehicles with real sound that renters swipe through in the app like a feed. Shorts are the quickest way to more attention and requests.

Yes. By uploading, you allow Rentlo to use your images and videos for social media, ads and its own website, that's part of our free marketing for you. The terms for rental companies set out the details.

Yes. Renters collect points with every booking. As a Club partner (optional, in the vendor area under promotions) you give Club members their Club benefits such as Club discount, Club vouchers and car washes and bear them yourself; in return you are shown with priority in search and Shorts.

No. Payments bypassing Rentlo breach the terms for rental companies, remove the customer's buyer protection and can lead to suspension.

Only with the customer's consent and at least equivalent. On Rentlo customers get exactly the car in the listing, that's our promise.

We talk to you first. For repeated or serious violations, listings can be paused or accounts blocked, to protect all fair rental companies.

Yes, gladly. Discount promotions on Rentlo are explicitly welcome, they just need to be at least as good for Rentlo customers as elsewhere.
