Which contracts does the right of withdrawal apply to?
Vehicle rental: You conclude rental contracts for vehicles with the respective rental company for a specific period. There is no statutory right of withdrawal for such contracts (section 312g(2) no. 9 BGB). Whether and on what terms you can cancel a booking is determined by the rental company's cancellation rules, which you see on the vehicle page and before booking.
Purchases from Rentlo: For contracts that you conclude as a consumer directly with Rentlo, in particular the purchase of gift vouchers and gift kilometres, you have the following right of withdrawal.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (M2 Innovations GbR, Rentlo, Meisenweg 8, 53119 Bonn, Germany, phone +49 170 2323232, email support@rentlo.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email). You can use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.
You can also withdraw from the contract online: use the "Withdraw from contract" button in the section Withdraw online at the bottom of this page. After your withdrawal, we will confirm receipt to you by email without undue delay, stating the date and time.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
When you withdraw, we block the code of the gift voucher or gift kilometres. If you have already redeemed the code in full or in part before your withdrawal, you must pay compensation for the redeemed part in the amount redeemed; we offset it against the reimbursement.
