Reserve a no-parking zone in time
So that the moving van can park right outside your door, apply to the city or municipality for a temporary no-parking zone several days to weeks in advance, depending on the location. The signs usually have to be in place a few days before the move. That saves long carrying distances and trouble with parked cars.
