Support & help
Can I get an invoice with VAT shown?

The invoice is issued by the rental company you sign the agreement with. Ask in your request whether it can be made out to your company and show VAT, and include your company details straight away.

Are there corporate rates for business customers?

Rentlo doesn't promise fixed corporate discounts. Many rental companies do lower the daily rate for longer rentals, though, and if you book regularly you can talk to the rental company directly about terms.

Can I return the car somewhere else?

That depends on the rental company. On Rentlo you rent from local companies, which usually want the car back at the same location. One-way rentals are sometimes possible, often for a fee, so clarify this before booking.

Is an electric car a good idea for a business trip?

In cities with low-emission zones and for short to medium distances, an EV can be a good fit. Check the range, charging options at your hotel and along the route, and how charging is billed. For very long journeys with no time for charging stops, a petrol or diesel car is often more relaxed.

Can I rent for less than a day for a single appointment?

Some rental companies offer an hourly rate covering 8 hours alongside the daily rate, ideal for an appointment with outbound and return travel on the same day. You can see whether it's available in the prices section of the offer.

Guide

Delivery, collection and one-way rentals

Some rental companies deliver the car to your hotel, office or the station for a fee. Look for the note “Delivery available”. If you want to return the car somewhere else, ask beforehand: not every rental company offers one-way rentals, and often only for a fee. Align handover times with your schedule.

Mileage, drivers and flexibility

Work out your routes before you book: if the included mileage is tight, a mileage package can be cheaper than paying for every extra kilometre. If a colleague will take the wheel, register them as an additional driver. Because business appointments can move, it's worth checking the rental company's tiered cancellation terms.

Invoices, VAT and travel expenses

You sign the rental agreement directly with the rental company, which also issues the invoice. Ask in advance whether it can be made out to your company and show VAT, as you usually need this for your expense claim. Include your company name and address in your request. Also clarify how fuel or charging is billed.
